Preparing for the Mobilization

As the Mobilization draws near, use these resources to prepare your heart and mind to come!

Prepare Spiritually

Praying (and gathering with other attendees to pray) for the Mobilization is a crucial part of trip preparation. We encourage you to unite in prayer before, during, and after the event to pray for people in poverty, government leaders, and your own role in the anti-poverty movement.

We also encourage attendees to fast in the days leading up to the Mobilization to foster a spirit of solidarity and openness during this experience – from food, media, or whatever else will help you create space to hear God’s voice.

Download a five-day devotional guide for prayers and daily reflections leading up to our time together.

Sign Up for the Prayer Room at the Mobilization

A prayer room will be available at the Convention Center where attendees can participate in continual prayer during the Mobilization. Please sign up for a time to pray here.
