Loving Thy Neighbor:
Barriers and Breakthroughs in D.C. – April 30, 2009

Nyack College, D.C. in collaboration with the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) will host a groundbreaking symposium where Christian leaders from a diverse group of churches and community groups will address the vexing issues related to poverty in the Washington, D.C. metroplex. Christian Peace Witness for Iraq – April 29-30, 2009

On the 100 th day of the new administration, Christian Peace Witness for Iraq will hold its third national event to end the war and occupation in Iraq, support a comprehensive peace process, end the policy and practice of torture and meet human needs at home. Worship will continue with a candlelight procession to the White House for prayers and a closing address by Rev. Raphael Warnock, of Atlanta’s historic Ebenezer Baptist Church.
