Emerging Leaders Track

Recognizing that many of the most important social movements in our country have been driven by young people, the Emerging Leaders Track (for participants age 30 and under) seeks to train and empower young faith-inspired leaders to help lead the movement to overcome poverty. Sojourners/Call to Renewal has hosted an Emerging Leader's Track at our annual conference for the past four years. Each year, the track's numbers have grown, and in 2006, more than one-quarter of all conference attendees were Emerging Leaders.
A key part of Pentecost 2007 is ensuring that emerging leaders around the country who wish to integrate their faith with their passion for social justice are equipped and energized to do so.
We offer:
· Workshops specifically designed to train you to be an effective advocate and a faithful leader on your campus and in your church.
· An Emerging Leaders dinner forum with national religious leaders and experienced activists joining you for a meal and discussion.
· Networking opportunities to build and strengthen the growing network of emerging leaders across the country.
· Full participation in all the conference events (at a reduced cost), including the presidential candidate's forum, lobby day on Capitol Hill, inspiring worship services, and issues and advocacy training with some of the nation's top organizers.
· Encouragement for a lifetime!
The total cost of registration for Emerging Leaders is only $125 (the price will go up to $150 on May 4, so hurry!). This includes certain meals and registration. To register, click here.
