Karen L. Lattea Chief Administrative Officer
Karen has been on the Sojourners staff since 1983, serving as Managing Director, Executive Editor, and Managing Editor prior to her current position. As Chief Administrative Officer, she focuses on human resources, benefits administration, and new staff hiring for Sojourners. She holds a B.S. in Community Leadership and Development from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, and between graduating and beginning work at Sojourners, she worked as a community organizer in New Haven, Connecticut. The Washington, DC- Baltimore, MD metropolitan area has been home to Karen since birth. She was raised United Methodist and was a member of Sojourners Community for 12 years. The resulting ecumenical nature of her journey now has her attending both Protestant and Catholic churches. Outside of work, she enjoys following the local music scene, antique and thrift store browsing, and figuring out who did it in a good mystery novel. back to staff page>> |
